Mission 4 — “The Fall of the Numbered Fleets” — is the currently detailed campaign briefing. Other mission-count and trophy-derived references are not independently confirmed.
Campaign status
ACE COMBAT 8 campaign information is being released in stages. This hub records named missions and preparation details only when the available evidence supports them. Unpublished mission titles, objectives, bosses, outcomes, and endings remain unknown.
Mission 4 — The Fall of the Numbered Fleets
Known setting
The revealed briefing places the operation around Newfield Island and the 3rd and 5th enemy fleets. The mission material identifies Joker Flight and REX among the participating forces.
Known threats and preparation
- Enemy air units include the MiG-29A, F-14D, and Su-33.
- Surface-to-air missile positions and other anti-air defenses are part of the threat picture.
- Prepare the aircraft and loadout before sortie launch; the revealed material also shows squad-command decisions during the mission.
Evidence boundary
Mission 4 is the detailed, officially published briefing in this guide. References to Prologue and Mission 01–30 from early trophy data are not independently confirmed as a complete official mission database, so this page does not invent their titles, objectives, or rewards.
