ACE COMBAT 8 early access

Three-day early access is included with the Deluxe Edition. Steam schedules it for September 28, 2026 at 3:00 PM PDT. Standard Edition players use the regular release window.

Who gets early access?

The announced Deluxe Edition includes three-day early access alongside the Premium Ace Pass Plus voucher and a cosmetic set. Standard Edition does not list early access. Physical collector bundles should be checked at the retailer because delivery timing can differ from a digital unlock.

Start-time checklist

Confirm that your store receipt says Deluxe Edition.
If your storefront later offers preload, install from that platform's own prompt.
Convert September 28 at 3:00 PM PDT to your local time if you bought on Steam.
Restart the storefront client after the unlock time if the Play button remains disabled.
Use the storefront's own countdown as the final local-time authority.

Early access is a timing benefit, not a separate campaign. Bandai Namco notes that dates and specifications can change, so the local store listing should decide any last-minute discrepancy.

Is Deluxe worth it only for early access?
